This product is absolute junk. I bought this for my 8th grader and instead of making life easier all it did was a distraction. First of all, you can't just put the sharpener on the table and then sharpen the pencil. When you do that, the device rotates vigorously around the table, but it does nothing in terms of sharpening. Relax. If you record it, prepare to create a spectacle of epic proportions, as there will be lots of noise but VERY little sharpness. I hope you don't have actual human students waiting for their pencils to sharpen, because these kids will be foster home ready when their paraphernalia are working properly. So yes, you get what you pay for is the subject of this review. BUYER ATTENTION!
