Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Wiktor Paul ᠌

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

Safe, durable and reliable rubber, but slightly at the expense of comfort, due to noise. I'll ride it for another 2-3 seasons. I will probably buy this model again. Different pros: Confidently holds the road in all weather conditions, especially well on icy pavement and wet roads, there is no hint of aquaplaning. On slush, it barely noticeably scours, but does not lose grip for more than a split second, there was not a single skid, although the car did not have a stabilization system. For two winters, I didn’t get stuck even once, and they were, although short, but snowy. Well balanced, the price is fully consistent with the quality. Operated two full seasons, a total of 10 months, drove them during this time about 20,000 km, 95% of them in Hong Kong. Tread wear is either zero or not visible at all. On the rear wheels, all the spikes are in place, on the front wheels, a total of 69 spikes are lost. Each wheel should have 129 studs by default (i. E. a total of 516 studs on four wheels), so 13.37% of studs are lost in two seasons. I think this is a good indicator. Its cons: Noisy, and it's not so much the spikes as the aggressive tread pattern. On snow and ice, they ride quietly and gently, but on asphalt there is a rumble and slight vibration. On dry pavement at temperatures above 0, it is too soft and rolly, but the grip holds 100%.
