My Matcha Frother - Kitchen & Dining

I've recently started making matcha tea at home and for health reasons have decided to use a milk frother instead of the traditional bamboo whisk. I have connective tissue disease and early stage osteoarthritis and need to protect my wrists, so adding a whisk to my daily matcha habit can be risky. Vomelon foaming agent is ideal for mixing matcha tea powder with water or almond milk and protects the joints from further damage. I liked the included cover for this model and the large on/off button on top of the unit. Other models have switches and knobs in odd places, which may seem impractical to me. I'm having trouble pressing the button on this device with my thumb despite it looking like it's made specifically for that, so I usually use my index finger to toggle it on and off. This works fine for me. You don't have to hold the button down while it's on - it stays on until you turn it off - so that helps. Two coil attachments are good too. The single coil does a decent job, but the triple coil mixes really well and froths my almond milk into a fluffy, frothy cup pretty quickly if that's what I'm looking for. It uses 3 AAA batteries and I was concerned that they would wear out with daily use, but I use mine for about a minute each day (I mix my matcha then rinse, mix plain water then wring dry, before I store it ) every day for about a month and it still runs on the original batteries. However, I am ready with spares when they run out. I checked the battery compartment to make sure I know how to turn them off and it's very easy. They are folded at the end of the device so you can simply unscrew the end and pull out. There is a holder for 3 batteries, so slide it in/out, just slide it back into the main body and screw it back in. The +/- indicators show how they are placed. I believe it's 2 one way and one the other way. The lures are simply held onto the spinning rod by tiny grooves on the lure that fit snugly. They don't snap or anything, but I've had no issues with them not dangling or anything during use as long as they're fully in place. Just slide it all the way in and you're good. Overall, this is a good fit for my matcha and milk froth needs. I tried it once with an egg to see how well it would jiggle, but I used a single coil attachment and it seems to slow down the gooey viscosity of the egg quite a bit, so I can't say I did it would recommend for whisks. especially when doing several at the same time. However, I only tried it once and only with a smaller single coil attachment. You might have better luck with it if you want to use it for that. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
