Short term heat output
It's been three days now and works great for our baby bearded dragon. It sits on a 40-gallon tank and a softball-sized rock heats up to 102 degrees. I will update when life is short but so far I am satisfied. Tip: Halogen bulbs have a shorter lifespan if you touch them with bare hands. Therefore, use a glove, sock or something else to prevent sebum from coming into contact with the lamp. Wadate: Heat dissipation decreased quickly. 102 quickly became 90. We had to add a second light to keep our baby dragon's swim point above 100.
