Adding more drives to a case that doesn't fit is the simplest thing you can achieve. I had to buy extended SATA cables for work. As the picture shows, it doesn't have anything attractive, which for me is the hard part. I was able to hide it in the entertainment area so it wasn't visible, but in addition it holds the drives to protect the drive from scratches and has a simple fan that helps. Let me add 17TB to an enclosure that only contains 2 drives. It worked as planned.
