This is a mechanical precision fit. The hose has arrived.

Precision mechanical fit. The hose came off several times during installation. As soon as he got in, I noticed that my fuel gauge wasn't working. I checked the float but it turned out that the gear unit is not compatible with my 2002 Jetta MK4. I was able to use a transfer unit from an old pump. He snaps in immediately. You can loosen the blue wires directly on the transmitter with a small screwdriver by pressing on the metal tabs. When reinstalling the old transmitter, be sure to pull the tabs back out to snap the connector into the housing. I will report when I have a few more kilometers with the car. For the price you can't beat it.
