Better than nothing and cheaper than factory.

Hello, this is Peter. VW Jetta 2004 The pump has a terrible intake when the fuel level is low and the car stalls. This happens when the meter reads 1/4 - 1/8. After 2 minutes the car restarted and I drove 2 miles to the nearest gas station. When I got to the gas station and filled up, there was 1.2 gallons left in the tank. After installing the fuel pump, the car stalled like this 3 times. This information is also known and documented in the VW forums. Otherwise she works.

Great price but poor description and the right tool from Revain

While my initial review was good, here's an update. After installing and resetting, the check engine light stayed on. Revain Garage said it would fit my car BUT NOT. Find out that VW has different sizes of fuel pumps and you need to make sure you choose the right one. It must be a question asked or flagged in the "Match Check" search, or the seller must make a NOTE. So I had to send it back and Revain doesn't have one the size I need.

Worked on my 2001 Beetle AVH gas engine.

2001 VW Beetle AVH engine. The ohms on the fuel gauge wasn't exactly the same as my OEM VDO pump, so I had some concerns that the dash fuel gauge would be inaccurate, but the car seemed to learn the new settings after a short drive. Immediately after installing a new fuel pump, the fuel gauge on the dashboard initially indicated that there was almost no fuel in the car, when in fact it was almost empty. Precision mechanical fit. The hose came off several times during installation. As soon as he got in, I noticed that my fuel gauge wasn't working. I checked the float but it turned out that the gear unit is not compatible with my 2002 Jetta MK4. I was able to use a transfer unit from an old pump. He snaps in immediately. You can loosen the blue wires directly on the transmitter with a small screwdriver by pressing on the metal tabs. When reinstalling the old transmitter, be sure to pull the tabs

Oscillation problems solved

Installed this pump in my 2003 Jetta GL. The Jetta hesitated when the fuel level in the tank dropped below 1/4. Replaced fuel pump (and filter) and ran almost empty with no problems. There are no problems with the pump. Be careful when handling and inserting it into the tank as the float is somewhat fragile and can bend if you snag on something while trying to insert it. Impressed! on electric fuel pumps

First of all, the price is impressive. The item came out of the box looking great due to the overly protective packaging. I installed my wife on a 2001 Jetta 1.8t. The original old pump was tiring and began to crank and die for the first time, a symptom of a hard start. The fuel filter has already been replaced.
