Installed this pump in my 2003 Jetta GL. The Jetta hesitated when the fuel level in the tank dropped below 1/4. Replaced fuel pump (and filter) and ran almost empty with no problems. There are no problems with the pump. Be careful when handling and inserting it into the tank as the float is somewhat fragile and can bend if you snag on something while trying to insert it. Also remember that the top flange of the pump is spring loaded. Not sure why, maybe to push the pump to the bottom of the fuel tank, but know you need to push the flange before tightening the collar bolt. Excellent price. I love buying auto parts online as the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than auto parts stores.
