First of all, the price is impressive. The item came out of the box looking great due to the overly protective packaging. I installed my wife on a 2001 Jetta 1.8t. The original old pump was tiring and began to crank and die for the first time, a symptom of a hard start. The fuel filter has already been replaced. There is no Schrader valve to check the pressure in the car. With the old pump you could hear the difference in noise. This part is a complete unit including the transmitter unit. The plug, fuel connections and fitment were perfect. Send a replacement. After the replacement, the car worked like new and even gained some performance that it had lost over time. After installing this pump, the car starts and runs perfectly. Fits perfectly! Easy installation! Everything works as it should. Just installed so no idea of the durability of the product. However, the first feedback is that I am very satisfied and I highly recommend it.
