I haven't used all sizes of these hooks but I've used a few and checked out the rest. Some are easy to use—lightweight, comfortable to hold, and glide smoothly over stitches. Others are rough, even if you don't feel them with your fingers, but enough to catch the yarn with every stitch. This isn't a big problem if you have a flat file or even an emery board. Most of them can be smoothed out enough to be used. It's just annoying, especially when there are sets of soft-handled metal hooks that cost less than these and don't require any extra work. They're a good spare set for your handbag as they're very light, but they'll probably never be my main set.
