I bought these to replace the Roku remote that came with my TV which had a broken pause button and by using both side by side I can confirm that the reception here is terrible . In order for the TV to register an input, the remote control must be pointed directly at the TV, vertically, not too far away and with no objects blocking any part of the TV, and even then the TV cannot register inputs for input. Hold on, and then register them all at once. Since I haven't had any of these issues with the remote that came with the TV, I can say with certainty that the remote is the problem.
