Just got it in the mail and compared 4 different solutions (tap water from the pit, rainwater that went into a food grade HDPE bucket after yesterday's rain, vinegar solution and baking soda solution). I also showed you how to compare the pH of tap water using these strips with my pH Test API Freshwater Master Kit. As you can see from my results, these strips are not accurate at all. They rate the free chlorine levels in my tap and rainwater as the same (they aren't), and they also rate the pH of my tap and rainwater as the same. My faucet has a pH of 8.2 (I only showed the standard pH here, but after that I tested it with a high pH range pH indicator solution). They also offer almost the same GH and KH, but I've also tested them with API kits and the rainwater is very soft, but my tap water is pretty hard. I wouldn't trust that. They are very poorly made. Apparently they cannot provide discrimination at the declared level, at least for some tests. If I can't trust some, I don't trust anyone. I tried them because they were recommended in several test strip reviews online (I won't trust anything on those sites anymore, that's for sure) and most of the reviews here were a few years old. I feel it my duty to post my review here in July 2020 and say that these tests are still of terrible quality.
