Can't take it for outdoor recreation

The product was easy to install. The plastic straps of the saddle tore after 1 year. Now I need to replace with another solution. My trailer and kayaks are stored in the garage so the sun wasn't an issue. I would think twice before buying this product for trailer kyaks.
