Let me get this straight, even if you have a 1998 Chevy, update your computer. Someone who knows how to download/decompress/manage files. That may seem intimidating. It would have saved me a few hours of troubleshooting and changed this review from negative to positive. Out of the box everything worked fine. Updated, it worked 100% better. Next, the amount of information one can get, even from a 1998 Chevy, is overwhelming to me. Literally hundreds of reads. And the support team was happy to tell me that my car was protected, mainly in the areas of ABS and SRS. I don't like that it doesn't save my cars, although maybe it's just me. I will ask for support. Which brings me to my next point: the email customer support seems very convenient to me. I agree to receive the email next day as time zones and such differ. So if you're looking for instant 24/7 service, then maybe look elsewhere. For example, my ABS light is on. There are no codes. Nothing, wheel speed, tensions, nothing. I think my ABS computer is defective. Customer service asks me to send you a file to see what you see, very nice of you. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the product. I would recommend it to the right buyer who is researched and patient enough to set up the scanner the way I learned.
