This set (purchased left and right) was bought as a gift and I was very impressed with the quality. Almost life-size, they're silky to the touch, not at all silvery or difficult to manipulate, moderately effective in positioning, and fun to look at. A major disadvantage is the lack of weight on the wrist, which makes it very difficult to position both hands when standing. The fingertips are oddly curved, unlike any natural hand I've seen, which can be corrected by sanding, but since they're the main tool, they can be used as is. They allow you to practice many of the planes the hand can do, but in a somewhat limited way. But - they never have cramps, they never flinch, they never have to answer the phone and they never complain! That's it.
