Settings don't stay the way you set them
After spending a day setting it up outside of our home we were very disappointed that it didn't stay in the settings when turned on. selected. We only wanted orange for Halloween, but in no more than 10 minutes they were colorful. 3 times we tried unsuccessfully to go back to a solid orange color. They will work for Christmas lights as I was planning on making multi colored ones anyway but then we would have to replace them (which was a lot of work and time).
