This was the perfect replacement for a Moen kitchen faucet that started leaking at the base of the faucet rather than the spout as expected. Apparently the three red seals in the photo are more of a problem than the internal valves. The exchange was simple: TURN THE WATER OFF; Remove the faucet handle and cartridge cap. remove the old cartridge; and insert a new cartridge. The two raised plugs on the base of the cartridge make incorrect insertion (almost) impossible. After 6 months the new cartridge works perfectly.
