Good Article: Computer Hardware

This stand is my favorite. I put it together fairly easily, and while it was a bit wobbly and awkward to put together with only two acrylic shelves, I imagine it would require a level of zen that I'm not sure about stacking stably can. along with all 4 shelves. Once assembled it turned out to be pretty solid but it took me a little time to get to the final stages. I assembled the thing and took it apart 3 times. The first time was because I somehow managed to turn the whole thing on its head. The shelves were upside down, the side brackets were upside down, it was a mess. The second time it was because I decided I wanted to swap my Pi for the top shelf and my SSD for the bottom shelf. And then I put everything back and started uploading but I got a lot of errors and no SD card upload which was working fine a few hours ago. The only thing that was different was the SD card expansion that came with the stand. They send 4 of them so I figured it wouldn't matter much and that I'd just try another one. The funny thing was that none of the movement clips actually worked. Since my Pi should now be on the top shelf, I can still access the SD card in the traditional location, but I'm a little frustrated that this unit doesn't allow me to quickly replace cards for testing. I intend to boot this off a 500GB SSD anyway, so it's not the end of the world. In the end I decided to deduct 2 stars due to the tedious build process and the fact that the 4 movable SD card mounts didn't really work.
