I couldn't find my regulated linear power supply when I took my Kenwood D710 radio out of the car so I bought it for temporary power. My Kenwood draws 70 watts at 12 volts at full power, or 5.8 amps if you know Ohm's Law. This power supply claims to be able to deliver 12 amps of current. no I turn on the transmitter to start talking and it fails. I finally found my MCP linear power supply which is a 6 amp power supply and works great with my radio. I can transmit at full power with no problems. So it's clear that this power supply isn't even delivering 6 amps of power, let alone the claimed 12 amps of power. In other words, this is a complete scam. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
