Rings serve their intended purpose well. The rings are meant to sit over the joint, and most have done so with minimal resizing. They hold yarn much better than I thought (even the fish design) and I've noticed a lot less cramping in my left hand since using them. They just slow me down a bit when I change thread color, but I think that's because I'm still getting used to them. Overall I think this is a good buy for what it is. This is not meant to be a high-end piece of jewelry that you can wear all the time. Just a cute yarn holder to help relieve tension from arthritic or sore hands. Much nicer than a patch!
