I first bought this large opener set to make it easier for my wife to open bottles of soft drinks and juices. While this works, it is difficult to get the opener in the correct position on the lid. There is a sponge in the jaws that requires the opener to be in a very specific position to grip the cap and since the small cap opening is at the very end of the opener the rest of the opener is at your fingertips away while trying to attach the cap, and then wrap your hand around the opener to squeeze it. This opener would probably work better with larger can lids, but we didn't want to use it for that.
