Review on FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter, CA3914 for Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, and Winnebago Vehicles by Joseph Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The air filter is a paper thing that protects the car engine from dirt, birds and squirrels!

This is an attractive rectangular air filter made from cream paper with orange plastic trim. It fits right into the air filter under the hood of my car where all those horses live. Installing this part was as simple as lifting a few latches, taking out the old filter, inserting a new one, and closing the latches. be delayed or injured by turning or flipping it over to fit into the air cleaner's anti-idiot device (box with lid). The clasps can also be quite tricky. So if you don't have opposing thumbs don't even bother trying, thumbs are definitely needed to open the clasps. I guess when you're in trouble and need to click. You can try to do it without your thumbs, or maybe use a screwdriver, but why risk it, you can pinch your finger. I would definitely recommend that you go to an experienced Automotive Service Association (ASA) certified mechanic and pay them $75 for a new one (I heard a mechanic say that to a woman at a dealership - Phew! Obvious and damn Lucky for her, she retorted the thumbs-up and declined her delicious offer). So you pay money and take risks. You have been warned! Much luck.
