No Rocket Science Folks

I installed this air cleaner on my 2003 C5 using zip ties. I expect this to last for a long time, especially since my C5 doesn't come out to play when it rains. Too many idiots to share the road with. Dry roads or wet. Hassad, but true

Replaced Filter on 2004 SSR

When I was replacing a faulty electric radiator fan on my 2004 SSR, I removed the fairing and decided to check the condition of my air filter (40,000 miles). It's time to replace. Ordered this (sorry Mr. Kind Key), received it in a few days and finished replacing the radiator fan.

The first was WIX and I got CEL with every WOT. I tried a NAPA gold air filter. The results are the same. I installed this fram and did 10 WOT passes. without codes. I suspect the other filters were more restrictive and not allowing enough airflow into the WOT. It seems unlikely, but these are the facts!

Installing this part was as simple as lifting a few latches, taking out the old filter, inserting a new one, and closing the latches. be delayed or injured by turning or flipping it over to fit into the air cleaner's anti-idiot device (box with lid). The clasps can also be quite tricky. So if you don't have opposing…
