Review on 📻 Discover the Versatile TYT TH-7900 Mobile Radio: 50W Dual Band VHF/UHF Vehicle Transceiver with Cable by Jeremy Choi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this radio. Nothing but good things to say about it.

Bought because it was $156 here, it's insanely cheap, although since then it appears to be unobtanium. I think the normal price is closer to 200€. You can't get a better deal with a removable double face strap. The sound isn't as good as my Kenwood or Icom, but it's decent. The side-by-side dual control radio is a breath of fresh air. After that, you can't go back. I prefer to put my favorite station on the right and scan on the left. I've since moved this from my base station to my mobile device and crimping wires is a breeze. It's also easy to find 3D printed STL files for bezel holders. Of the various suggestions, I think this is superior to the quad-band TYT, which often runs into trouble after a while. I would have bought another if I'd found a decent deal but then an Icom 2730A popped up on the spot and I took it for a base. It's better, but twice the price.
