Review on 🔌 BESTEK 1000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter - DC 12V to 110V AC Car Inverter with Digital LCD Display and 4.2A Dual USB Charging Ports by Lawrence Feldman

I built a small solar test rig and use this portable inverter with it to load it normally. I have a 1000w pure sine wave version. Delivers very clean power, seems to work as advertised but I haven't tested its maximum output. After several weeks of use for about 15 hours a day (with lots of plugging and unplugging), the bottom plug became intermittent. I haven't contacted the manufacturer about this yet, I can edit afterwards. No blown fuses and it doesn't look like the contacts, no matter how much the plug is moved there is no click so I think it's something internal but I reset it every day and change devices often. Some days it turns on again, then it can go on all day or turn off after an hour. I stopped using it and am doing everything at the highest level. If THAT comes out, I'll be disappointed. I use it with two heavy fans, each pulling a pair of about 190w, have no idea how they start the engine but there are no problems with them. I'll occasionally use a little more, but never go over 550 total watts on the unit's front power meter. I just plugged a three prong plug into the top outlet and it went like a trooper. Another issue is that the supplied wire gauge seems a bit low for the advertised max capacity. I've probably never had more than 50%, except maybe for a spike at the start, but if I wanted to take it a little close to its limit I'd increase the wire gauge a bit. Good wire quality, very flexible and very well insulated. The non-working outlet cost it a few stars but the customer service must be great, I'll fix it when I check it out.
