Delivery was quick, I never got a straight answer if it would fit a 25hp Johnson 2-stroke outboard. I actually saw where someone said it was suitable for Yamaha. So I thought I'd try. fits very well. I had to remove the rubber insert, I believe the insert for trolling motors. This product is snug which means I had to wet the handle a bit and then tap it gently with a rubber mallet. I haven't steered the boat yet, but I'm doing what it's supposed to do. Definitely surprised by the cheap cost and the product seems to be very durable. Let's see, I'm a little elephant in a china shop. if it's easy to break, i'll break it.
