belts are slippery. They don't "grab" like other cam locks and have a somewhat silky feel. You need to pull hard and engage the lock. As soon as I figure it out, they work. I like the durability. The straps have a silky feel but I think they will hold up over time. The locks are occasionally a bit fiddly to lock/unlock. It's like a steering wheel that needs to be turned a little to turn the ignition key. Once you get these things right, they will work. However, I find them overpriced. I have the impression that they are still a draft and still need a little tweaking. I don't think a product is a great product if I have to learn little tricks to make it work properly. Overall I like them because I haven't found any other belts that offer the security that these offer. Once you set them up, they're secure, so I guess they're doing what they're designed to do.
