I ordered this for use with my 3rd generation Honda Pilot. By snapping onto the door lock ring, you get a surprisingly flat step for both the front and back doors. It's nice enough to give to anyone who can frequently add or remove roof racks to/from their car. It looks like this product can be used to get to the center of the roof for washing or detailing if I'm in too much of a hurry to get my Werner work platform out.
