They work but you need to experiment with them to find the perfect spot on the window to protect birds from attack and make sure there are enough of them on the window. I have a homemade birdcage that is placed right in front of a large window to make wild birds think they can fly around or even land on it. It took me a few days of playing around with them to find the sweet spot. At first I only put two, but eventually rearranged and added two more. Now when the wild birds outside scatter or get frightened they fly to the window but now I watch them turn away not hit the window. They are very easy to take off and put on again.
