Sub-blanks suitable for household fans

As hurricane season approaches I've decided I'd really like some sort of fan that I could use for an extended period of time in the event of a power outage. In the end, I chose this fan because it can last almost a full day on battery power at will. Actually it can't. Out of the box, the battery was completely drained, not even enough charge to light up the LED charge indicators. With the included charger, I was able to charge the battery in 2-3 hours. However, a full charge of the battery only takes about 12 hours, and that's only true if you keep the fan at a low level (10-15%) of the maximum. That's a lot less than I expected. The battery also cannot provide constant power. As the day progressed, the fan slowed down and the controls didn't change. The fan itself can only be powered by a wall charger or branded batteries. It is not possible to run this fan from solar panel, power adapter, USB or standard batteries. There's also no USB input for fans or batteries. While additional batteries can be purchased for the fan, they currently cost $57 for a 15,000mAh battery. For only $3 you can buy a RAVPower 32000 mAh power bank. That's more than double the power for just $3. The fan itself is very well made. The engine is very quiet. The only noise this fan makes is from the air it's moving, and it can actually move air. The fan I have vibrates a bit when in use, but that doesn't cause any problems. As good as the fan is, it doesn't cost $120. It's possible to find a working fan for less than $50 if you don't mind a fan that requires an outlet. I personally did not find the performance of this fan worthwhile and will be returning it to Amazon for a refund.
