I bought this air vent mount because it works with a car dock (same size ball) for Motorola Atrix and works very well. You need to be fairly stable when docking and unplugging your phone from the dock, as from a technical standpoint the versatility of the mount has some limitations. But once it's there, it works surprisingly well and is stable. An exceptional feature is that it really helps cool down the phone which gets quite hot when used in GPS and other modes.
