Review on Dorman 742-251 Power Window Motor for Specific Models, Jet Black by Kevin Shimmens

This power window motor works perfectly and is a driver side window motor replacement for my 1994th Ford F150 XLT. Although this Dorman 742-251 is designed to fit in the passenger door window, it will also work with the driver's side window, you just have to rotate it when you install it. I fitted this new one to a failing Ford OEM engine and they are opposite. You will need to drill 2 indentations with a 1/2" drill bit so you can access the screws on the inside of the door panel and remove the old motor. There are 3 bolts holding the old motor in place. One of the cables that came in the package was a direct replacement and worked great, snapped right in! I had to switch the polarity on the cable so that up was up and down was down. never mind Overall a good buy! Thanks very much!
