I ordered this heater as Nicrew brand lamps are really good value for their money I decided to give it a try. The heating immediately started behaving strangely. In seconds it heated my tank up to the set temperature and then exceeded it by several degrees. I don't think he could warm up that quickly. It kept turning on and off due to overheating, even though the aquarium temperature measured with an aquarium thermometer was lower than what I set. He just kept jumping, so I found a replacement. It works great! The replacement heater is 100% accurate and works reliably. The only thing that confuses me is the bright white temperature reading on the display. But it makes it really easy to read lol. I also love how thin this heater is and how you can regulate the outside temperature. Quite nice for the price.
