When the rear latch on my 2001 Sequoia broke recently, I read many reviews of plastic replacement parts breaking again. When I saw this one advertised as all metal I decided to take a chance. It arrived within a week - on time - and was all metal as advertised. With the help of some YouTube videos, I was able to remove the old defective part and install the new one relatively quickly. Everything fitted well with one exception: the brace on the new part that holds the latch cable was a little tight, but nothing that a little Dremel filing couldn't fix. Despite this small issue I still think it deserves a 5 star rating because it looks very well made. I was also very satisfied with the fast delivery. Overall this is a great replacement and I think it should last longer than the original.
