Works well, the only problem with my 02 Sequoia was that it was sticking out about 1/8" too far and my license plate no longer sits flush. The rest works fine. Definitely everything made of metal!

This pen is similar to another one I tried a while ago. The difference is that the lever that attaches the lockout cable is angled at a 45 degree angle, allowing the use of an old cable that has stretched a bit. I installed it and it works close to the original. Very happy.

The quality is much better than the previous part. The last one was made in China, Dorman brand, was very thin and folded like wet paper. Typical Dorman parts from my experience. I made sure to lubricate the contact point on this part to reduce drag. I'll be surprised if it doesn't last. Thanks

I've waited a while to review this product. It's not easy to install as you have to remove the back panel etc. but once installed it's a really solid product, better than OEM! I have bought 2 OEM from a dealer in the past and very expensive and cheap plastic materials. For the price you might think this is a cheap part but it is NOT, very grateful to Sentinel parts for the price and good product quality, keep up the good work. Well done.
