Review on πŸ’¦ Optimized Cooling & Construction with NZXT H510 Computer Components for Water-Cooled Systems by Leo Torres

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Front airflow is a problem.

Should have checked the reviews before purchasing this case. Two fans on isn't enough to keep everything cool, and adding two more fans to the front of the case changes the temperature very little as there isn't much airflow from the hard front of the case. I don't know if there is enough cold air in this case to use the front radiator. I think your mileage depends on the quality of the fans you use. The top vent is only 120mm long so you can't mount a 240mm radiator cooler, and the 120mm cooler needs to be very thin so it doesn't hit the motherboard because it's mounted so high in the case. The fan hardly cleans it as is. I don't know if there are such thin heatsink coolers that fit. Maybe NZXT will make one. I didn't look. I replaced both stock fans with better airflow fans and added two more of them in the front because they are RBG and I like bling. While you can't see the front RGB fans from the front, they look good through the glass side panel. Routing the cables was an easy task. SSD cartridges are cheap plastic and fairly flimsy, but should work just fine if you're not used to constantly swapping hard drives. I was even able to make a nice back panel using wire channels and zip ties in all the right places. No sharp edges. This was the first case I've used in a long time that didn't bleed when assembled. There is no window showing the PSU which is also nice as usually the spec label is on the side you can see and it is ugly and needs to be removed. This case hides the entire power supply so you don't have to worry about it. If your PSU has an RGB fan, there will be holes in the top of the case that you can see it through. The body is beautiful to look at. If only it had a better front air intake I would give it more stars. You can find various videos on YouTube where the host talks about this issue. The mesh front panel is all that makes this case stand out. If I had to do this over and over again I probably wouldn't buy this case but with a lot of effort I was finally able to get the temperature down to an acceptable level although I know that if I had a better case I would be way cooler than me. There is a friend with the same assembly in a different case and its temperature is cooler than mine.
