Does not have a power cut switch.

I chose this item over others because the description says it has a switch; but this switch is only for the built-in mini LED backlight; does not turn off the device; I had to buy a separate toggle switch for this. Other than that, it's a simple USB socket that requires a 1-inch hole to install. SWITCH "ALSO, the only metal parts are the two power contacts; The whole body is plastic, including the lock nut.
