Review on 🔍 Hydronix CB 45 1001 Carbon Filter Length: Superior Filtration for Optimal Performance! by Jeffrey Sanders

I bought this filter last year and am satisfied. I did a lot of research and found that this filter has the best performance e.g. B. the carbon capacity. The amount of carbon in the filter is really important because that's what you're buying - grams of carbon. I use it in a two stage system with a Hydronix SDC-45-1001 as the first stage. Since I only use it for drinking water, I change the sediment filter every year and the activated carbon filter every two years. CB-45-1001 is designed for 20,000 ha. If I drank 2g a day, the carbon store would be gone in 25 years. So if you change the CB-45-1001 every two years, you should be very careful. Greg J. says he uses 2 of these in series and changes them every 3 months to filter the well water for the whole house. I can imagine that as far as I can remember my parents' house was supplied by a well and the water smelled like it came from a septic tank. The fact that he uses them to filter well water for his entire house is a testament to their abilities. In my case I only filter out the chlorine taste of high quality city water and only for drinking. So I should be able to get a lot more months off the filters than Greg.
