I bought them last August. It took longer to remove the old bumpers than to put them on. My springs and g-forces are depleted so they are in contact with my axle all the time, not much but they are in contact. They have actually improved my usual driving style. About a week after installation I loaded 6 pallets (about 500 pounds each) onto a DRW platform on a hillside. The loader put the 3 on the downhill side first, and the truck had almost no sag on that side. When he started loading from the mountain side, there was very little traffic. There was also a trailer with a bumper and an additional 9 pallets. That night, the two-hour load drive was smooth, no body roll in corners at high speed (55 mph on land). This spring I borrowed a gooseneck and a £14,000 tractor from my buddies to work with and the truck was level and very smooth. I recommend these.
