I use this on my mountain bike and find it very durable and very easy to use - after one ride I was completely won over by the RAM mounting system. What I particularly like about this stand is that there is no need to remove the carabiner from the GPS unit, the ease of inserting and removing the GPS, and the solid construction of the stand. It works very well with the rest of the RAM mounting system and is much better than the manufacturer's solution (replacing the battery cover). Installation takes a few seconds and is accomplished with two small screws (three different lengths supplied), a thick section of plastic for added strength. Even in very rough terrain, the GPS never falls out of this mount, but I can easily remove it with one hand. If anything happens to the thing I would have no hesitation in buying another.
