Working and is the preferred and cost effective solution for converting to LED as opposed to replacing fixtures. But it's hard to believe they're 3000K, not what I think is warm light. I've compared them side by side with the incandescent bulbs I replaced and the difference is amazing and not pleasant. I almost returned them as they seemed to make everyone look sick including me. But what interests me most is the lower operating temperature and they run cool. It's too early to know, but I expect the electricity bill will be a bit lower as well. Just be prepared to see what you'll look like in a corpse. LEDs also produce a very directional light and even with frosted lenses they cast strange shadows compared to incandescent bulbs. On the other hand, I've gotten used to it over the past few days. I still hesitate to replace the chandeliers with LED.
