I really like this monitor. This is a well designed monitor with a bright and crisp display that will be extremely difficult to beat without spending significantly more money. And even if you decide to spend significantly more money for a better monitor, the difference in picture quality won't be astounding. I have a very expensive 27" 4K monitor in my office and there is not much of a difference in picture quality. Well, as I'm sure you know, this is a 170Hz monitor and the exceptional smoothness of this monitor when playing demanding games is evident. There is practically no stuttering and tearing. I'm very happy about that. After you get this monitor up and running, you'll definitely need to make some adjustments to set it up exactly how you want it. So allow about 30 minutes to change settings, tweak and tweak the image. And once you do, I can't imagine anyone not raving about this monitor. The picture quality is really excellent. Especially for such a price. If I had anything to complain about, it would be the built-in speakers. They are not here. And while the built-in speakers tend to be pretty terrible, I still like using them as a listening option in an office environment where great-sounding external speakers aren't needed.
