Numerous wiring and hoses (electrical and fuel) must be disconnected before the pump is 'opened up' to replace. Some of them are under the RV while others are accessible through the generator door. It takes some time. However, it was very disheartening to find that the seam inside the pump was leaking after installation. I discovered this the next day when fuel was piling up under the car. I'm not going to disassemble it in detail and reinstall the old failed pump - at least the old one has no seams leaking - but I don't have a working generator right now. I've already passed the return deadline on Revain, so I won't even try to return the $22.99 price. There is no source in my small town to buy this pump, but the next pump ordered will be an authentic Onan for about 3x the price. Triple work should have been avoided.
