This camera is essential, it literally takes the stress out of towing an RV. Yes, I have mirrors wide enough to see past the RV. But seeing what's happening behind the camper is the next level. I can walk past the car and see it appear on the monitor and then thread in. There is absolutely no worry. Reversing, especially on a long stretch with a curve, still requires some effort, but is much easier than without a camera. But reviews shouldn't be based on how a product has changed my life - they should be based on how that product compares to other products. And it works fine. As far as I know, this is a great value. The interface is clunky but comfortable, and once it's set up, you don't actually need to touch it. If you're the kind of person who gets intimidated by setting the clock on the stove after a power outage, then you might not like this. Although the instructions are surprisingly good. If there was one thing I wanted, it was for them to put a polarizing filter perpendicular (90 degrees) into the screen as is. The engineers should have tried looking at the screen with dark glasses, but apparently they never did. That does not work. Don't try to use it with polarized glasses. Overall there are 5 out of 5 stars.
