Review on 🚪 Wright Products V920WH White Standard Duty Pneumatic Closer for Screen and Storm Doors by Anthony Record

We installed two Andersen 3000 series mesh doors (self-contained half screen doors with glass), black for the front and white for the back door. I love the Andersen doors BUT the closer they turn they don't open the full 90 degrees!?! I have no idea why not but it was driving me crazy so I bought it as a spare. Andersen has a nice foot lock switch to keep the door open. While this one has an old-fashioned tongue that you have to slide. The foot tongue is comfortable, but not opening the full 90 degrees is a deal breaker so had to give up the standard closer. I already had Andersen closers installed, so I simply removed two pins and inserted this new closer with the included pins. Package. A small adjustment was needed on the pneumatic part (loosen the screw at the end so it closes a little faster) and it works great! Just FYI - there are two holes at the top of the closer and the instructions say one is for the glass door and the other is for the screen door. I've found that a hole marked for a barred door works better and is more easily suited to end-closed deadbolts. pretty cheap/ flimsy compared to the brackets that came with the Andersen door. However, it gets 5 stars because it's advertised as a 'regular' door closer and the brackets would probably work just fine anyway. Now the doors open to a full 90 degrees (actually a little over 90, maybe 100 degrees) and I'm happy!
