Good basic cordless phone. Use with Obi200 and Google Voice for $0 per month for home phone service. The sound is clear and the call is loud enough. The last cordless phone was the 900 MHz Uniden in 1994, which finally breathed its last. I needed an inexpensive cordless handset or two with DECT support. Using AAA batteries was an important consideration as I can easily replace them when they no longer hold a charge (or when I need to use higher capacity cells - hello Eneloops!). With the old Uniden, it has become increasingly difficult and expensive to buy replacement batteries, including here at Revain. Need a basic cordless phone? Let's look at this model.
