Perfect BASIC phone.

An excellent basic phone. Not a single complaint. For people who already have voicemail in other ways (I do it for free through Google Voice and Magic Jack) this is perfect. The lack of a base station with built-in voicemail allows you to reduce the size of this device, which is great. I'm pretty sure you can't do better.

Works great - great sound quality.

Works great. Excellent voice and sound quality even when using VOIP. I bought 2 sets and connected all devices to one base (the second base only works as a charger) as it was much more profitable than buying 2 expansion phones Panasonic KX-TGC352B Expandable Cordless Phone with Yellow Backlit Display - 2 Handsets, Black. Improved batteries with "Panasonic BK-4MCCA8BA eneloop 8 Pack (AAA) 2100 Cycle NiMH Cell" for extremely long talk and standby times. Panasonic BK-4MCCA8BA eneloop 8 pack (AAA)…

Unreliable best phone and accessories

I bought this in November to replace an old V Tech that was reliable. There were problems almost from the start. Calls are dropped during a conversation, some calls are not received. I thought it might be bad batteries and replaced them. Everything was fine for a while when I tried to make a call and after dialing the first number I got a busy signal and couldn't make a call. This happened intermittently. I ended up giving up that phone and buying an AT&T one. So far this works great. I thought

Need a basic cordless phone? Let's consider this model

Good basic cordless phone. Use with Obi200 and Google Voice for $0 per month for home phone service. The sound is clear and the call is loud enough. The last cordless phone was the 900 MHz Uniden in 1994, which finally breathed its last. I needed an inexpensive cordless handset or two with DECT support. Using AAA batteries was an important consideration as I can easily replace them when they no longer hold a charge (or when I need to use higher capacity cells - hello Eneloops!). With the old…

Pretty good phones for the price.

They seem to have a long battery life despite only containing two NiMH AAA batteries each. Additionally, since the batteries aren't proprietary, you won't have any trouble swapping them out if they eventually go bad. , so they aren't very stable (they can tip over more easily) if you put them on edge for hands-free use. Although I find they work great if you just lay them on their back while doing this. Oh, and the main base (the one that the phone line connects to) CANNOT be wall mounted…

Extend the power cord for the base!

This cordless phone system works great. Bought for my mother in law and she is finally happy. When we first got it the wall wart went to the extension cord and because it was so close to the base the zip tie didn't need to be removed so I just left it rolled up into a small neat bun. . Big mistake! The phones were constantly being jammed, even near the base. I found that the power cord is also a base antenna. So leaving it rolled up in its packaging will result in poor reception and lots of…

BIG TWO PHONES WITH NO ANSWER.

With the massive decline in landline numbers, I've only found three phones with two handsets that don't have an answering machine that are still affordable. First is ViaTech, they have been in our business for less than a year and we don't hear much about them. AT&T, they're good, but they get expensive and hard to find. My husband bought a set of these Panasonic phones for our shop and was very happy with them. When I went to the big store where he bought them, they stopped wearing them. Found

Be careful when setting up the base station.

These phones seemed to work fine for a few months, but lately they're transmitting snippets of conversation at both ends of the line. That is, from our side, a word falls out every few seconds. and from what the other says it is clear that the same is happening to him. We've had these phones for less than a year so it's time to check the warranty to see if they can be replaced. If they don't, I'm afraid we'll kick them out and move on to something else. For reference, I bought a similar pair of

Best Phone Purchase Ever

Cell phone destroyed by fire. We have a Magicjack but the old cordless phone doesn't work. So I was without a phone for several days. We are very impressed with the speedy delivery despite heavy smoke everywhere. We have had MANY cordless phones over the last 25+ years. Panasonic has always been the best. A lot of those phones had more features than these new ones, but it turns out I rarely used all those fancy features. And I absolutely don't need an answering machine because Magicjack comes…
