I removed the 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Transmission Oil Heat Exchanger and saw that my torque converter transmission temperature was over 230 degrees in stop and go traffic (very bad)! I installed a Derale cooler under my bed after the front mounted cooler and doubted it would even work because it was so small and it was the only thing that fit. The only problem was that I couldn't turn on the fans until I set the temperature switch to the output to the cooler transfer line. After that, my trance rates didn't go above 195 in the worst stop-and-go conditions. Don't think it's a separate cooler, but it's enough to keep your transmission from melting. They had to put 1/8 NTP connectors on the temperature switch inputs and it saved my transmission as well. Thanks Daryl!
