I used two inserts for my instant pot that were far from perfect: the crappy metal trivet that came with the kit and another silicone trivet that I bought separately have and who had no walls . This new silicone steamer is way better because it has walls (to keep things like hard-boiled eggs from falling out) and doesn't have big gaps like a metal stand for food to fall through to the bottom of the instant pot. Long handles are comfortable to hold and do not get hot. The bonus is that this basket also works great as a colander. Very functional and attractive. One article replaces three! I also love that it folds up if you're short on space, but take advice from others and snap a picture of it before you take it out of the box so it's easier to figure out how to do it folds up.
