Review on 💾 Seagate 6TB Enterprise Capacity HDD: High Performance SATA 6Gb/s Drive with 128MB Cache by Prince Aguirre

I bought this hard drive because I used 3TB for things like Windows APPS, games and programs. I usually prefer to keep the C drive free from these programs and mostly use it as boot drive and downloads. This plate was replaced with no problems. What I noticed 1) Decent weight of the drive 2) There is no center screw hole. So make sure you have enough space to mount the drive. I think this allows for extra plates and it was a design decision to remove them. With a new disc, it is usually better to create a new disc format. A 6TB drive of this size would take about half a day to format. This usually ensures that the preparation covers all sectors of the plate. checkdiskmark reports the drive as healthy with no abnormal problems or errors. I run a few C hotter than my 3TB drive. Also, I can confirm that this drive (sent by goharddrive) is a new drive as this program can tell you how many times it has been powered on and how long the drive has been running. In terms of speed and performance, games seem to load very quickly and I've been copying files at 120-200MB/s. This varied depending on the file size. Now the volume, it's not a very loud drive. I only hear something when the computer is on. But when copying files or when idle, it is very inaudible. It was a close call between this and western digital black. This is probably the drive that comes closest to black in terms of features, performance and quality. In addition, this drive is backed by a 5-year warranty. A long warranty gives me peace of mind that the manufacturer stands behind the product and will last. Also remember that when you buy a refurbished drive you only get a 1 year warranty. I recommend this drive as it offers great performance and space for the price.
